The objective of the study was to analyze the reliability and validity of the Time Management Behavior Questionnaire (TMBQ) in Argentine university students. A quantitative and non-experimental design was adopted, implemented in two stages. First, the reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated in a sample of 1000 students from two Argentine universities using Cronbach's Alpha (α=0,810) and McDonald's Omega (Ω=0,795) coefficients, observing acceptable internal consistency in the global scale, although two dimensions presented low values (α=0,532 and α=0,277). In the second stage, 11 experts assessed content validity, obtaining an Aiken V coefficient greater than 0,7 for 80% of the items. However, the judges recommended linguistic and cultural adjustments to certain items. Based on the results obtained, a revised version of the instrument is proposed for future applications. The study concludes that the TMBQ requires adjustments to optimize its use in Argentine university contexts.
