Esta investigación es el resultado de un proceso de recolección y análisis de estudios relacionados con el uso de la Pedagogía Teatral en el aprendizaje de niños, niñas y jóvenes con Síndrome de Down, para insertarlos en el sistema educativo de manera inclusiva. El objetivo del estudio es examinar el potencial del teatro como herramienta pedagógica al interior de la comunidad escolar que permita una eficaz y profunda integración de todos y todas sus integrantes. Es un estado del arte que se configura como necesario, imprescindible y urgente para establecer estrategias a corto y largo plazo en el diseño de los modelos de enseñanza de las nuevas generaciones. Necesario, porque las personas con dificultades del aprendizaje requieren aprender sin discriminación ni sesgo. Imprescindible, porque recoge beneficios y aportes del teatro a la educación inclusiva y lo constituye como una herramienta primordial para el aula. Urgente, porque es imperioso construir un espacio educativo libre, sano, seguro e inclusivo.
This research is the result of recollecting and analyzing studies related to the usage of Theatrical Pedagogy on the Down Syndrome diagnosed kids and youth’s learning process with the objective of setting them in the educational system in an inclusive way. The aim of this article is to value the potential of theatre as a pedagogical tool within the school comunity that allows an effective and deep integration of all its members. It is a state of the art which is required, essential and urgent to stablish short and long terms strategies in the teaching models design for new generations. It is required because people with learning difficulties need to learn without discrimination nor bias. It is essential because it collects benefits and contributions from theatre to an inclusive education and sets it as a primal tool for education. It is urgent because it is essential to build a free, healthy, safe and inclusive educational space.
