La educación durante los últimos años viene haciendo un llamado a la transformación constante debido, tanto al desarrollo de la tecnología, como al reciente evento mundial de la pandemia del COVID-19. El objetivo de este artículo reflexivo se centra en el reconocimiento de lo que generó la educación confinada y las posibilidades del uso de algunos dispositivos tecnológicos y herramientas digitales que se pudieron adoptar y adaptar a las diversas situaciones, saberes y contextos de las comunidades educativas. De otro lado, busca comprender el reclamo a algunas instituciones educativas rurales y urbanas para la transformación de la educación acordes a los retos y desafíos del siglo XXI. Con una metodología de corte cualitativo y el uso de la técnica de análisis documental, se utilizaron para la recolección y organización de la información instrumentos como matrices, fichas de análisis de categorías y fichas de análisis bibliográfico, lo cual permitió agrupar y clasificar la información para su posterior interpretación y producción reflexiva. Como conclusión principal se resalta la importancia para todos los actores educativos, de adquirir la conciencia contextualizada, en cuanto a la serie de cambios que se vienen presentando en los últimos años en el sistema educativo.
Education in recent years has been calling for constant transformation due to both the development of technology and the recent global event of the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this reflective article focuses on the recognition of what confined education generated and the possibilities of using some technological devices and digital tools that could be adopted and adapted to the various situations, knowledge and contexts of educational communities. On the other hand, it seeks to understand the demand made by some rural and urban educational institutions for the transformation of education in accordance with the challenges of the 21st century. With a qualitative methodology and the use of the documentary analysis technique, instruments such as matrices, category analysis sheets and bibliographic analysis sheets were used to collect and organize the information, which allowed the information to be grouped and classified to its subsequent interpretation and reflective production. As a main conclusion, the importance for all educational actors of acquiring contextualized awareness is highlighted regarding the series of changes that have been occurring in recent years in the educational system.
