The present study was aimed to determine the executive functioning profile of nine children with the oppositional defiant disorder through neuropsychological tests to evaluate frontal functions. The scope of the research was descriptive-observational, and its design was non-experimental. The neuropsychological evaluations used quantitative instruments, and the variables were considered through standardized, and their scores were numerical. As a result, low performance is highlighted in most of the tests that assess these dorsal functions in the sample evaluated. The results obtained contribute to a better understanding of the diagnosis of the oppositional defiant disorder, in addition to implementing effective strategies in the order of intervention, especially due to the prevalence of this disorder is 6.43% in the Colombian population.
