Introduction: Helicobacter pylori is responsible for multiple gastrointestinal disorders, its diagnosis and eradication of the gastric mucosa are a priority in the care of the ulcer-ative patient. Antibiotic resistance used in its eradication is now a major problem. Methods: We set out to conduct prospective research to determine the in vitro sensitivity of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) to a selection of antibiotics used in bacteria eradi-cation schemes. Results: Ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, phosphomycin were the antibiotics with the highest statistically significant in vitro sensitivity to H pylori. Clarithromycin and amoxicil-lin-ac. clavulanic, resulted in minor statistically significant sensitivity. Conclusion: These results show changes in the spectrum of in-vitro sensitivity in relation to previous publications in our country. Changes in antibiotic sensitivity should guide the design of new, more effective and cost-benefit therapeutic strategies.
