Se establece que la mejor definición del autismo se deriva de experiencias vividas por personas con esta condición, por tanto, se ofrecen sus voces, relacionando acciones y expresiones con procesos de pensamiento explicados psicológicamente. Creatividad, emoción, comunicación y lenguaje son abordados desde tres personas destacadas, Temple Grandin, John E. Robison y Donna Williams, y son explicados utilizando como fundamento principal la teoría analítica de Carl Jung. Finalmente, el artículo enfoca la relación del arte con el bienestar y resalta su beneficio aplicado a las propuestas terapéuticas y al conocimiento profundo del Sí Mismo, como figura relevante de la psique.
It is established that the best definition for autism is derived from experiences lived by people with this condition, therefore, their voices are offered, relating actions and expressions with cognitive processes explained psychologically. Creativity, emotion, communication and language are approached from the experiences of three outstanding people, Temple Grandin, John E. Robison and Donna Williams, and are explained using Carl Jung’s analytical theory as the main foundation. Finally, the article focuses on the relationship between art and wellbeing and highlights its benefit applied to therapeutic proposals and deep knowledge of the Self, as an important figure of the psyche.
