dc.descriptionThe main objective of this article is to estimate the Scandinavian model of inflation to see the impacts of imported and structural inflation in the Dominican economy, during the period 2000-2016. The results show that imported inflation has a positive impact on the variation of domestic prices, while structural inflation does not, because the productivity gap is negative in favour of the non-tradable sector.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo fundamental estimar el modelo escandinavo de inflación para ver los impactos de la inflación importada y estructural en la economía dominicana, durante el período 2000-2016. Los resultados muestran que la inflación importada tiene un impacto positivo en la variación de los precios domésticos, mientras que la inflación estructural no, debido a que la brecha de productividad es negativa a favor del sector no transable.es-ES
