dc.descriptionThe objective of this study is to relate the level of assertiveness and the gender ideology in women victims of psychological abuse. In turn, carry out therapeutic and educational interventions, to promote behavioral changes that prevent these women from continuing to be subjected to psychological abuse. This is the continuation of the article Gender assertiveness and ideology in women victims of psychological abuse (Liranzo & Moreno, 2017). The study had a mixed approach and a Sequential Explanatory Design (DEXPLIS) in two phases. The participants were 24 women chosen through a non-probabilistic sample of intentional and voluntary type. The instruments used were four scales: Psychological Abuse Scale, Gender Ideology Scale, Assertiveness Scale and Evaluation Questionnaire for Victims of Interfamily Violence. The techniques of data collection applied were the exploratory and diagnostic workshops, field diary and participant observation. The results suggest that only a few participants identified themselves as victims of psychological abuse; most of them had a traditional gender ideology and, in their totality, did not manifest assertive behavior. Clinical and psychoeducational intervention workshops were shown to have a positive effect on the participants in the aspects of: communicative and assertive skills, emotional expression and modification of their attitudes towards a more egalitarian gender ideology.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este estudio consiste en determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de asertividad y la ideología de género en mujeres víctimas de abuso psicológico. Cabe destacar que este trabajo es la continuación de una investigación  sobre el tema de  Asertividad de género en mujeres victimas de abuso psicológico (Liranzo & Moreno, 2017). El estudio tuvo un enfoque mixto y un Diseño Explicativo Secuencial (DEXPLIS), en dos fases. Los instrumentos empleados fueron cuatro escalas: Escala de Abuso Psicológico, Escala de Ideología de Género, Escala de Asertividad y Cuestionario de Evaluación a Víctimas de Violencia Intrafamiliar. Las técnicas de recolección de datos aplicadas fueron los talleres exploratorios y diagnósticos, el diario de campo y la observación participante. Los resultados apuntan a que solo algunas participantes identificaban ser víctimas de abuso psicológico; la mayoría tenía una ideología de género tradicional; en su totalidad, no manifestaron un comportamiento asertivo. Los talleres de intervención clínicos y psicoeducativos demostraron tener un efecto positivo en las participantes en los aspectos de: habilidades comunicativas y asertivas, expresión emocional y modificación de sus actitudes hacia una ideología de género más igualitaria.es-ES
