Las TIC como elemento motivador para el trabajo de las universidades con las comunidades: el caso de los foros invertidos de InterConectados

dc.descriptionThe InterConectados-AsoVAC Forums are a space for debate and discussion mediated by ICT aimed at university professors to share their research experiences in community service. The evolution of the forums was studied until reaching the current modality: the flipped forum. The case study methodology was followed, using techniques such as documentary record, the online questionnaire and the semi-structured interview. The findings show three problems to be considered in future activities: first, the poor understanding of the potential of community service; second, the little expertise in computer tools for teaching and research work; and, finally, the little internalization of the relevance of collaborative work in research. We think that these resistances can be overcome with the methodology of the flipped forum because of the motivating potential of ICT. The findings are not conclusive and therefore the subject needs further investigation.en-US
dc.descriptionLos foros invertidos InterConectados-AsoVAC son un espacio de debate y discusión mediado por las TIC, dirigidos a profesores universitarios para que compartan sus experiencias de investigación en servicio comunitario. Se estudió la evolución de los foros hasta llegar a la modalidad actual de foro invertido. Se siguió la metodología de estudio de caso, utilizando técnicas como el registro documental, el cuestionario en línea y la entrevista semiestructurada. Los hallazgos muestran tres problemas que deben ser considerados en actividades futuras: primero, la poca comprensión de las potencialidades del servicio comunitario; segundo, la poca experticia en herramientas informáticas para el trabajo docente y de investigación; y, por último, la poca internalización de la relevancia del trabajo colaborativo en investigación. Pensamos que estas resistencias pueden ser superadas con la metodología del foro invertido, dado el potencial motivador de las TIC. Los hallazgos encontrados no son concluyentes y, por ende, el tema necesita mayor profundización en investigaciones posteriores.es-ES
