dc.descriptionIn this article, a biographical sketch of Kurt Lewin is presented, one of the most original and important psychologists of the 20th century, his main contributions to social psychology and research methodology through field, theory he dynamics of group, leadership theories and action research. Emphasis is placed on the contributions of action-research to education, its recognition in the mid-20th century, its oblivion in later times and how this methodology permeated the work of various researchers in the United States, Australia and Latin America, and served as the basis for the structuring of participant-action-research, as well as in the development of Paulo Freire's pedagogy. The objective of the work is to highlight the repercussions of Lewin's work in psychology and pedagogy, both at a theoretical and methodological level. But, just as his work is highlighted, its limitations are also considered, the most striking of which is its lack of systematicity.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo, se presenta una semblanza biográfica de Kurt Lewin, uno de los más originales e importantes psicólogos del siglo XX, sus principales aportes a la psicología social y a la metodología de la investigación a través de la teoría de campo, la dinámica de grupo, las teorías sobre liderazgo y la investigación-acción. Se enfatiza en los aportes de la investigación-acción a la educación, su reconocimiento a mediados del siglo XX, su olvido en épocas posteriores y como esta metodología permeó la obra de diversos investigadores en Estados Unidos, Australia y América Latina, y sirvió de base para la estructuración de la investigación-acción-participante, así como en el desarrollo de la pedagogía de Paulo Freire. El objetivo del trabajo consiste en resaltar las repercusiones de la obra de Lewin en la psicología y pedagogía, tanto a nivel teórico como metodológico. Pero, así como se resalta su obra, también se consideran sus limitaciones, siendo la más llamativas de ella, su falta de sistematicidad.es-ES
