Thus, neuroeducation, by allowing the teacher to understand the particularities of the nervous system and the brain and, at the same time, relates this knowledge with the behavior of their students, their learning proposal, their attitude, the classroom environment, may be the initial step in tea­cher education and training that will make a difference in the quality of education (Campos, 2010). The objective of this work is to develop an approach to the study of the state of the art of cognitive neuroscience focused on neuroeducation and linked to the initial training of tea­chers-researchers. The methodology that was followed was deductive and includes the reading and analysis of docu­ments that make possible the construction of a common language in relation to the themes and concepts related to the object of study.La neurociencia estudia de manera interdisciplinaria el cerebro y ha augurado un cambio de paradigma en el campo educa­tivo. Es así que la neuroeducación, al permitir que el maestro entienda las particularidades del sistema nervioso y del cerebro y, a la vez, relacione este conocimiento con el comportamien­to de sus alumnos, su propuesta de aprendizaje, su actitud y el ambiente del aula, puede ser el paso inicial en la formación y capacitación docente que marcará la diferencia en la calidad de la educación (Campos, 2010). El objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar un acercamiento al estudio del estado del arte de la neurociencia cognitiva enfocada a la neuroeducación y vin­culada a la formación inicial de docentes-investigadores.
