2022-01-262022-01-26https://repositoriobiblioteca.intec.edu.do/handle/123456789/5435From the hermeneutics of Paul Ricoeur’s self and the central concept of attestation in this essay, the incidence of social networks in the configuration of personal identity is analyzed from an intercultural approach, that is, beyond mere multicultural relationships. Although social networks are a mass phenomenon with homogenizing tendencies, the user public of it is predominantly young, so the constitution of a personal narrative identity is of vital importance in this stage of development. From a succinct bibliographical analysis, it is established that the relationship between the intercultural approach, the culture of peace as an individual and collective objective, social networks as an instrument or mediation and the attestation of oneself as a subjective and intersubjective product are positions that are conducive to a hermeneutic construction of the young subject and his identity.A partir de la hermenéutica del sí, de Paul Ricoeur, y del concepto central de atestación, en este ensayo se analiza la incidencia de las redes sociales en la configuración de la identidad personal desde un enfoque intercultural, es decir, más allá de las meras relaciones multiculturales. Aunque las redes sociales son un fenómeno de masas con tendencias homogeneizadoras, el público usuario de ellas es predominantemente joven, por lo que la constitución de una identidad personal narrativa es de vital importancia en esta etapa del desarrollo.
